DIE LIEDERTAFEL

Sing-Akademie zu Berlin’s Liedertafel is a forum that brings together poets, composers, and singers and encourages them to engage in joint projects that explore the numerous relationships between text and sound, with the aim of fostering the interaction between new music and contemporary poetry. Following the model of Zelter’s Liedertafel, since 2006 once a month, after Sing-Akademie’s rehearsal, the members dine together – and think, drink, and sing together.
