LECTURES
In the tradition of its former Scholarly Association, which hosted famous speakers like Alexander von Humboldt, Ernst Haeckel, and Graf von Zeppelin, since 2007 Sing-Akademie zu Berlin has been organising small conferences, lectures, and symposia devoted to aspects of Berlin’s urban and music history, the art-religion (Kunstreligion) around 1800, and the history of the Sing-Akademie. Our guest speakers so far: Bernhard Böschenstein (Geneva), Ludwig Holtmeier (Freiburg), Wolf Boder (Kassel), Wolfgang Schlüter (Berlin).
