
The music library of the Sing-Akademie is one of the most important collections of music manuscripts from the 18th century. It comprises around 280,000 pages of music, divided into around 10,000 works, which are cataloged in 4,800 call numbers. Since 2002, the year she returned from the Ukraine, where it was taken as booty by the Red Army in 1945, the collection known as the "Archive of the Sing-Akademie" has been on the basis of a loan agreement with the State Library in Berlin - Prussian cultural property. Since 2017, when the foundation came into life, the music library has been part of the foundation assets of the Sing-Akademie zu Berlin foundation.
